Many people are confused on what actually a reborn baby is. A reborn baby is any dolls that emulates an actual baby. Stated in the 1990’s, these dolls are not created and manufactured by companies, but by individual people, usually women, and most dolls are unique and beautiful. The heads of the dolls are created used vinyl and the bodies are made from a kit you can purchase from ebay or created by the artist themselves.  This hobby is very popular in women and most give unique names to there dolls and often times will treat the dolls like they are actually infants themselves. Many reborn baby dolls can take up to 50 hours to make, which is why some are more expensive than others. However, you can find many baby dolls from websites like ebay for around $10-$25.  Another unique feature you can add to your doll is a realistic beating heart.  These hearts emulate an actual baby’s heartbeat and can be inserted into the doll.
